After much thought and a couple day break in mid-March, I decided to do a combination of the options I listed in the previous post. I’m still maintaining my BR on Pacific. Over the years, Pacific has been way too profitable for me to abandon them now. What I’m doing there is playing at least 1 MTT a day. More on the weekends. In the past, I have had some good scores in MTT’s on Pacific. I usually get into the 5pm one. My results so far have been average. The few times I have moneyed (moneyed or monied? To lazy to check right now), it has been on the low end of the payout scale. I’m confident something will happen there soon. Depending on what time I bust out of that MTT, I’ll either play another or jump into a 5/10 for the remainder of the night. The 5/10 games there are great and are helping me take the first step in rebuilding my BR. Of course, the 10/20 games are great too and look where that got me! So far so good though.

As soon as my Pacific bankroll gets to $1.5k, and I’m confident it will, I’ll withdraw $300 and create an entirely seperate bankroll, solely for bonus whoring. My plan is quite simply to hit up as many new player and reload bonuses that I can and grind them out one by one.

Derby Lane in St. Pete. has started running tourneys again. They have been on and off there for the past few months due to legal reasons. The assholes at the Dvivsion of Pari-mutual wagering keep finding some legal reason to suspend tourneys in Florida. Then Derby Lane finds a loophole and starts running them again and on and on. It’s a cat and mouse game. I’m not sure what David Roberts at the Division has against poker tournaments, but he seems hell bent on suspending them for good. I’m sure someone’s palm is not being properly greased. Anyways, they’re back for now, and I have been playing a few. Doing quite well too! They have one big tourney every day (120 players), but I have been enjoying their single, three, and five table sit&go’s. I am cashing in over half that I play. I’m gonna head out there tonight and see what I can do.
